Luv Ya Style Boutique Has Launched
One of the greatest gifts in life comes in the forms of the people we meet and the connection we make with them. I met Teresa back in college when we both were working at Kohls Department Store here in Greenville, NC. I'm not quite sure what it was that drew us together, but we became inseparable instantly. Any time that we could work together on the register we did, and we had so much fun... maybe too much because they were always trying to separate us.
We lost contact for a few years after we left Kohls, but were able to reconnect through the powers of the ever so addictive Instagram. When Teresa told me about her vision to open up an online fashion boutique, I was instantly behind the idea. There wasn't a better option for her, because she's always dressed. Always. She decided to launch Luv Ya Style Boutique.
Teresa wanted an online boutique that stood out from all of the other boutiques she was used to seeing online. She wanted a simple website that was fresh and clean and allowed her pieces to speak for themselves. So we sat down and mapped out everything from her font combinations, to colors, to pages, to features of her site and created an home for Luv Ya Style on the interwebs.
Not only did Teresa trust me to design her website, but she also wanted me to shoot all of her new arrival product photos. She allowed me to use my creativity to bring her pieces to life. Since LYS is for every girl, we wanted to photograph her pieces in a way that spoke directly to her potential customers. Instead of opting for static product photos, we decided to shoot her dresses in action so that each and every girl could see themselves Luving Their Style in her pieces... I know... I'm corny. I love love love the way it came together so seemlessly.
Congratulations, Teresa! I'm so proud of you! Who knew when we first met that we'd go from working a part time job at a Department Store to running businesses of our own!
