Comfort Is Not Key
It's funny how the guy who's a photographer has the hardest time being in front of the camera. Check out the irony in that. Well... I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only photographer who has that issue, but man... you'd think I would be a natural since it's so easy for me to direct my clients and get them to model for me.
When I decided that I wanted to post more of my personal style, I didn't really think about having to step out from behind the camera. Since I literally have no photos of me from when I was younger, I'm trying my hardest to step out of my comfort zone. It's truly a hard feat... even more so because I'm so picky when it comes to photos of me.
Stop being picky, Bryant. Dang! So today, I headed out with my niece Kimora, who's transitioning into quite an amazing little photographer, to take these photos! I relaxed a little and had little more fun and I love them. It just goes to show that our comfort zones only exist in our heads. Literally! So I'm saying all of this to say, if you feel something holding you back because you're not comfortable, try it and discover the results. It may surprise you.
