My Shop Has Launched

I'm so very very incredibly pleased to announce that the Designed x Bryant Shop is now up and running and OPEN FOR BUSINESS

A big thanks to my friend Rekita Nicole Designs for the Apple Thunderbird Mockup

I couldn't begin to tell you how much work has gone into making this shop come alive, and I'm so thankful for the amount of love and support that I've got since I hinted at opening up on Facebook a little while back.

I struggled for a while on whether or not I should open up a shop. Most people know me as a photographer and I didn't want to confuse those parts of me. I didn't want people to think that I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life.

It wasn't until I sat and thought about how:

  1. Many people have many different hobbies and things they enjoy doing.
  2. I love photography. Nothing about that is going to change. I'm never going to quit that and it's going to always be a part of me.
  3. I love my other hobbies just as much and I know very well my goals and the direction of my life.

I was able to get over it.

After about three months of research, learning different stitches, switching from the loom to straight and circular needles, rebranding, figuring out life, embracing change, developing a few different blog templates, testing out different yarns, playing with color schemes.... should I continue?... I'm finally putting my stuff out for the world to see!

I have so many talents. I'm very creative. I love crafts. I love art. I love fashion (specifically accessories and things that put the final touches on an outfit). I love DIY.

Designed x Bryant (the 'x' means 'by'... like a 4x6 photo... see what I did there? Lol.) is a combination of all of that. My vision is to be able to create the things that I love creating, for others to love. Kinda like the idea of "another man's trash is another man's treasure..." except none of my stuff is trash... so it's more like "another man's treasure is another man's treasure." Too much?

Anyway, right now I'm just starting out with my Custom Knit Infinity Scarves -- they're actually up on the shop now. In the coming months I will have a few shirts and other apparel up. I will also (in the very near future) get back into offering business rebranding and blog and web design.

Again, I'm beyond excited to have my items online! It's almost 4 AM... I'm going to bed, I'm going to be launching a giveaway later on today as well as announce some of the items that I have on the blog.

Check out the Shop and let me know what you think in the comments below.
